This is a translation of the Spanish original. If there is any difference between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Who looks after your data

Lynoia, the trade name of Rhea Banda Alvaro (RUC 1716661069001), based in Quito, Ecuador, is responsible for the personal data we collect on lynoia.com and through our AI agent, automation and web design services.

2. What data we collect

What you give us

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone or WhatsApp number
  • Your company or business name
  • Your message or the description of your project
  • National ID (cédula) or RUC, when you pay on the site

What is recorded automatically as you browse

  • IP address
  • Browser and device type
  • Pages you visit and how long you stay
  • How you arrived at the site

What our analytics tools collect

  • Google Analytics: how you navigate the site
  • Google Search Console: which searches bring people to the site
  • Meta Pixel: what you do after arriving from Facebook or Instagram

When you pay on the site, your name, email and phone number go to PayPhone, which processes the payment.

3. What we use it for

  • Answering your messages and quote requests
  • Providing the services you hired: chatbots, voice agents, automations and web design
  • Writing to you about the service you hired
  • Improving the site and the services by seeing how they are used
  • Complying with Ecuador's legal and tax obligations (SRI, the tax authority)

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell, rent or share your data with anyone for marketing.

These technical providers may process it on our behalf:

  • Hosting providers: to host the sites securely
  • Google (Analytics and Search Console): to measure the site's traffic, under Google's privacy policy
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram Pixel): to measure the results of our ads, under Meta's privacy policy
  • AI providers: so the chatbots and voice agents work, under confidentiality agreements
  • PayPhone: to process the card payments you make on the site

6. Your customers' data in the AI agents

If you hire a chatbot or a voice agent, the data of the people who talk to it (your customers) is handled like this:

  • It is used only to provide the service you hired
  • It is stored on secure servers with bank-grade encryption
  • Only you and we can see it, and we only to give you support
  • It is deleted when you ask us to or when the contract ends

Important: you are the one who tells your customers that you use artificial intelligence in your customer service.

7. Cookies

This site uses three types of cookies:

  • Technical: the ones the site needs to work
  • Analytics (Google Analytics): to understand how the site is used
  • Marketing (Meta Pixel): to measure whether our ads work

You can choose which ones you accept in the cookie notice or from your browser settings. If you turn some off, parts of the site may stop working.

8. Your rights

Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP) gives you these rights over your data:

  • Access: ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification: correct data that is wrong or outdated
  • Erasure: ask us to delete your data
  • Objection: object to our using your data for certain purposes
  • Portability: receive your data in an organized, easy-to-use format

To exercise any of them, write to us at [email protected].

9. How we protect it

We protect your data with technical and organizational measures so that no one without permission can see, change, publish or delete it: SSL/TLS encryption on all communications, restricted access to sensitive data and periodic security reviews.

10. How long we keep it

  • Contact and billing data: for as long as we work together and 5 more years, because the SRI (Ecuador's tax authority) requires it
  • Site analytics data: 26 months, which is what Google Analytics keeps by default
  • Chatbot or voice agent data: while the service is active and 90 days after it is canceled

11. Minors

Our services are for businesses and people over 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we find that we have any, we delete it immediately.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Each change is published on this page with its update date, so it's worth checking it from time to time.

13. Contact
